Can you please suggest me a good book to understand bash scripting deeply from the beginning.....or any site that has a good tutorial in it  |

i don't have any books on unix scripting that are worth a flip... but normally O'Reilly, Que, and SAMs always have good books.
There is a bourne shell programming tutorial online that is fairly extensive, its within the first 4 or so hits on google.
