Hi, I'm making a PHP website for a band and it's going to have a news section, but I want each member of the band to have an account or at least be able to post news up on the site through a link (like at the bottom of the page), so this way they can update it whenever they want.

If anyone has any help to give at all, I would appreciate it. I am fairly new to PHP and I'm not sure on how to do this or get started.

Try looking through the code to something that implements this, like phpBB or some of the blogging scripts. I'm sure you'll gain some insight there

Do you have prior knowledge in php? I am assuming you dont! if this is the case try to find free software that already does that... somo of them are already mentioned in this thread... there is also the option of finding a site that has it implemented and let u use it for free... its not that hard to implement in php if you dont use multiple accounts

fixing to say, if you are just dropping it to a standard HTML file from PHP... then I have code that will do that for ya.
