Help on a Group Policy Editor Program

Ok, Im in a access restricted enviorment but still have access to the GPE. The settings I need to change are known to me however to change them every time is very time consuming and boring (machines reimage on startup) Im looking to make a program to modify the policies with the click of a button or the exectusion of a batch but have not found and syntax on doing such a thing. Can anyone help me with a simple way to access and modify the file where the GPOs are saved?

I thought (at least in Windows 2000) that the whole point of policies was to simplify editing of the registry: when you make an Administrative Template you are effectively mapping values onto registry keys. If you knew exactly what you wanted to change, it wouldn't be that hard to make a startup script that changed the specific reg values under HKLM or whatever. I've also heard you can script MMC, though it's a bit dodgy.

unless there is something weird in the air, i believe that execution is spelled as such. your grammar implies to me that either you are foreign (which i do not believe) or that you don't know how to spell. i would believe that IT professionals would possess at least 6th grade writing skills, which obviously you either do not, or don't care...either of which is subject to reprimand by the basic rules of the english language. consequently, i believe that you are a student seeking help in disguise. pretty much everyone that is smart enough to learn CS is smart enough to talk properly. you also use esoteric terms like GPO's, that remain undefined. you come across as a beginner (which i am as well...but i don't lie about it). please submit all replies in plain english, not "have found and syntax doing such a thing" which makes no sense whatsoever. if i'm too harsh tell me.

First off, welcome to the forums. Secondly, you could use a combination of ADSI and LDAP with some home grown algorithms to accomplish this.
