'Lo Yuneek - I'm also aiming to get into game development. I guess the only differences between us is that your website development company is successful (whereas mine is possibly the worst in the country), and I'm 16 (and I'm assuming you're not). Anyway, I recommend C for Dummies - unlike most Dummies books, this one's excellent. Now I just need to read that freakin' game development book...

i have a book for "game programming in 24 hours" that i haven't had much time to look at. i got it off amazon for less than $2.00 so you can probably find it pretty cheap. check it out.
