Whichever. I have the

tricks of the windows game programming gurus second edition

the dark green one

I read the first half and haven't really seemed to get anywhere. I know a TON about windows programming now, but nothing close to actually starting a game or teaching me how to make a game. The info is there, but just not the steps.

That in mind, does the origional 94 version teach you how to make a game?
