what is the difference between .NET and VB6.0? sorry if i'm asking, i'm still a beginner..

I have always seen VB as a managers language, so that managers can see what you are doing and they are able to read it. But i never lioked it as i dont feel it has a natual flow to the thing.

.NET Framework makes things much easier... VB6.0 is very good, .NET is better... and gives access to a wider range of resources. I used to say "Real programmers code in C++." but since then, I've found myself dropping to VB for a quick and dirty frontend GUI to my C++ programs

i might have to figure out how to do that. that woudl be pretty handy to beable to use vb as a quick gui for a c++ program.
