best 10 movies

What do you think the best 10 movies are? I did a search and didn't find this thread anywhere else.

I'm mostly an action movie sort of guy, but I hate all the Arnold Schwartzenager or Jean Clad Van Damme style movies. I like movies with some thought in them.

My favorite 10 movies are:

Enemy of the State
Toy Story
Gone in 60 seconds
deterrence
Men in Black
Knockaround Guys
Shawshank Redemption
I Robot
Independance Day
Wargames
Boyz in the Hood.

Return of the Jedi
Attack of the Clones (I liked it, though most didn't. The Yoda fight was amazing)
A New Hope
Phantom Menace
Empire Strikes Back
Independence Day
The Matrix
The Matrix Reloaded
American History X
Green Mile

My favorite movies are (in no particular order):
The Last Samurai
Indiana Jones (all of them)
Braveheart
Tombstone (classic, gotta love it)
The Three Musketeers from 1998 (There are 4 of them and the 1998 is the best
since it preserves the humor of the original book)
The Patriot
Gladiator ( gotta love the music )
The Mask of Zorro ( kinda stretching it )
Independencee Day ( What can I say? Will Smith kicking alien ass? )
Enemy of the State (either this or Independence day)
The Fugative

^^ Look I put 11 down ^^

American Beauty? I see the theme behind the movie, but still that movie was kinda disturbing.

Fight Club is good though... Good plot twist

If you want a good plot twist you can see basic... It twists and retwists and twists again...

I have no idea which are my favourite movies, it's like asking me what is my favourit son... So I'll just post the first 10 movies that I enjoyed... that doesn't mean it's the best... or the worse... It just means that (in my little world) it kicks ass! Anyway:

Basic
Matrix (the first one of course)
Kill Bill (maybe vol2)
The eye
Garden State
Magnolia
Eyes Wide shut
Collateral
The Beach (gotta love that soundtrack)
Hackers (Gotta love that soundtrack too)
Lord of the rings
I robot (I just saw it yesterday, and it kicks ass)
Fast and furious (I also just saw it yesterday and it made me hide my car keys or I would probably kill someone...)

Anyway, the list probably sucks ass, but I could be here 'till tomorrow! I suck deciding what is the best/worse movie...

Why, because maddox sais it does? Maddox's site is hillarious, but people take it too dagon seriously.

I need my stylized action scenes, WIll Smith humor, and that nice bmw. Advertisements don't bother me as long as they don't distract from the main point of the movie.
