Saving with Java

How do you save input, so that the next time you start a program it will be able to use it without having to get it all over again. Any basic idea would help me. Thanks

Write it to a file. BufferedWriter/FileWriter is what you're looking for, I believe.

look into Properties ... http://java.sun.com/docs/books/tutor...roperties.html ... it should save a file with key=value pairs that you can open when the program starts up and load in values from the last execution ...
