Difference between a Hierarchy Chart and Flow Charts? [URGEN]

Hello, I'm new to the forum and I have an urgent question for an assignment that's due tomorrow.

For my software planning, it says plan your project components ( hierarchy chart AND flow charts or pseudocode)

hierarchy charts are mandatory, and i will be choosing pseudocode because its easier.

I understand that flow charts are like symbols with the indications inside, so like an oval is start/end, rectangle is a process, diamonds are decisions, parallelograms are input/output with connectors and flow lines.

But I dont understand what a hierarchy chart is, is it just like a pyramid shape like this (meaning no symbols necessary, just shows problems broken into sub problems etc)
