Ok, so for anyone who is interested, perhaps this is not the most usefull means of going about getting the work done that I am looking for, but alas given the circumstances where my last developer has to return to India for an indeterinate period of time due to a family emergency I need a PHP programmer quickly.

You need to have the following skills:
* PHP 5, mySQL 4, and some (very little) Perl.

You will need to have the following tools:
* Access to Fedora Core 3 (preferably, not required)
* PHP 5, Apache 1/2, and mySQL 4 (installed to develop with).

You will need to set up your own development and testing environment as my dedicated servers have not yet been upgraded to accomodate PHP5. This project requires PHP5 and needs to make full use of PHP5's OO features!!!

You will have 3 month to complete the project, from start to finish, including all major and most minor debugging. You will be require to remain in contact with myself twice a day (i understand SOMETIMES this is not possible, like once a week). And you will need to send code updates on a daily basis (zipped).

The project pays $500 USD to compete it. I am only interested in people who CAN complete it, and have the intention of doing so. I will require that the person interested in developing the project sign an agreement to complete the work (Independant Contract Agreement) meaning you must live in NA and be old enough to sign documents legally in your Province/State, additionally I may request that $50 be escrowed as a deposit until the project has been completed (we can work around this if you are in NA, you will need to make that deposit if you are outside of NA).

Gah, my coder who was supposed to work on this got called to return to his family in India for some sort of familial emergency, think I am going to have to turn this project down unfortunatly Oh well, such is life. Plenty of other work with this client so I will be fine in any case.

Gah.. damn you all (I mean that in the nicest way possible) I bet I could find someone if I just threw the project onto RAC, but I hear there are a lot of coders on that site that have a habit of not actually completing there work... I bet I could figure my way around that one though... I will just have to select carefully who I will use for the project.
