i think that people who actually clear their cookies and use dynamic IP adresses should be allowed to vote as many times as they want.

alright, so that let's me know that obviously there is no login situation on this site, because if there was, there would probably be a mysql database of some sort going on here.
You can definately use the snippet of code that Infinate Recursion supplied to write to a textfile, you will want to look up php writting text file. I would post a link but :-( they won't let me. ****shamelessly beggs the powers that be to turn it on as he holds up a sign that says will program for food **** You can still use the IP address in this case. It is the most reliable way to accomplish this, however, this is true, if the user is on dial up, or anything that isn't static, you may get a couple that slip through the cracks, but it's better then using cookies at this point. If you need any help with the actual coding once you get started just shoot us a snippet, more then happy to help. Later Mike
