I need help with my programming with Javascript; i need some help choosing my software. Many people have told me that just using wordpad is good enough but i dont agree. Please could someone tell me what the best software for Javascript proagramming is please.

Javascript Programs

I have manged to find myself a program that i can use Javascript on, I don't know if anyone has heard of it but it is called Name Web Editor 4, it is pretty good.

...you can't use NetBeans for JS, unless I'm very much mistaken.

I like emacs. Like vi, it's not exactly user friendly, but I do think it's a little more approachable. I definitely wouldn't struggle with WordPad or Notepad; even MS DOS editor is better for programming than them.

Kate (The KDE Advanced Text Editor) is quite nice too, though just a little buggy.

Visual Studio .NET will autocomplete JavaScript. I don't use it myself, but it's not bad.
