Id this the suggestion forum?
This forum requires that you wait 5 seconds between searches. Please try again in 92 seconds.
I don't want to wait 5 seconds is a search returns nothing. And definitely don't want to wait 92 seconds if the first search returns nothing. Any way to disable this for the long time users? Makes me just want to ask a question that may of already been asked and answered... |

Re: Id this the suggestion forum?
There is a similar problem over on DaniWeb. I don't know the solution, but since the same problem is on both web sites maybe its in the basic BB code that is used. Anyway, the reason for the delay is to stop bots from spamming the boards and consequently the feature will not be disabled. I think the 5 seconds you reported is correct and the 92 seconds is just a display error.

Re: Id this the suggestion forum?
I took the 92 seconds to post this, sorry. Didn't want to try to break the 90 seconds for fear of some sort of search ban.
Still havent found what I'm searching for. I'm sure I've read it here before but it may of not been why the topic was started.Edit: I give up on the search, I'll just watch the next video. I'm sure it has the answer in it. |

Re: Id this the suggestion forum?
I'm getting the same problem. It seems like it keeps doubling everytime I try to load
"This forum requires that you wait 5 seconds between searches. Please try again in 40 seconds." I always use "Today's Posts" and "Posts since last visit" to browse whats going on. Apparently both of those count as searches, so I cant use that link, go to a post and go back, unless I sit around and twiddle my thumbs for a little bit. Seems a bit flawed in that respect
