Vb6
I do think that VB6 is the best programming language ever. Many people don't like it but I do think that is a great programming language. You can create so many types of programs with it. Don't you think?

Re: Vb6
There is no such thing as the best programming language as it all depends on the task at hand and the best tool/language for the job.
It also comes down to personal preference. I would use VB.NET over VB6 and C# over VB.NET if I had the choice, even though all three languages might be able to accomplish the same task. My favourite languages are C++ and C# as both of those usually cover all coding tasks I do.

Re: Vb6
When it comes to creating windows application and FAST, there's no competitor for VB but when it comes to memory and resource managements, fast application output and processing and lower level jobs then nothing can beat C++ in that. Also VB is a not-so-good language to create games.
Nevertheless, when it comes to windows applications development, VB is the only choice for me. Also it has got so many features which C and C++ don't have. (Well C# does have them but again C# is a member of the .NET framework) |
