WOW i feel retarded. ok so i found out the problem and i cant believe it was that easy. fist off the way that java3d is set up i really cant think of this in terms of the way i did for 2d programming. all you have to do is rotate each axis baised on incs.... like every key press increments the axis by 3 degrees, then with the transform making the origin reletive to your transformations, to move forword one unit. just make a translation move of z. thats it.
