hi, as part of my AS level computing project i am using turbo pascal to create a simulation of a petrol pump system. however, after converting the 4-digit real number input to 4 seperate integers and creating a procedure to convert each digit into a 7-segment number, i have found that the standard wincrt window is too small! can anybody suggest a snippet of code to use which will enable me to change the standard dimensions of the window to that of my choice ?

this has got me puzzled so any help will be greatly appreciated!

Have you tried turning it off and on again?

Have you considered using a modern compiler like FreePascal instead of Turbo Pascal, and a proper graphics library like Allegro?

wish it was that simple lol. we have to use turbo pascal, its part of the assignment

Breslin, you sure about that? When I did AS Computing (about three years ago), the teacher told us to use Turbo Pascal, but when I asked if I could use a different Pascal compiler, he said that was fine too. Tried asking?

does the language used vary between each compiler though?

thats the only problem i can think of with using different software :p
