Netlog Popup Script

Hi, I don't know if this is the right place I should post it in, but I would ask information about the Netlog popup when one of your message has been quoted.
Do you know that script? The one that show a small window to the bottom right of your screen where you've been quoted around the site. Do you think is this a simple script? I would like to do something like that on my vBulletin forum.. could you help me?

Re: Netlog Popup Script

We're going to need more information.

Have an example? What aspect of the code did you want to replicate? The Javascript which physically shows a popup? The PHP code which invokes a flag to call the popup? The vBulletin add-on to add this to a forum?

Many of us won't respond to questions that have been posted on multiple forums. There is no connection or feedback among the groups participating in the diverse locations. It represents an inefficient waste of the time that people are voluntarily investing.

We take it to mean that you didn't prepare, you didn't choose carefully, and your patience is low. The nature of your question reinforces the view that you haven't prepared. If you haven't the time and inclination, why should we be inclined to put in our time.

Exactly. However, if you could help me, I will try to do it myself.

Re: Netlog Popup Script

I think your best bet would be to ask on the vBulletin support forum for add-ons. There might already be a sticky with something there that you could download.

You could also e-mail the owner of the forum you're referring to, and ask him whether it was something custom-coded, or a vBulletin add-on. If it was custom coded, it shouldn't be too hard to replicate yourself.
