Re: C# Beginner

This is your second post in this thread recommending that book. Did you forget that you made the earlier post (two above), or are you spamming for this book?

Re: C# Beginner

I actually put in an order for the books to see how they are, and I am still waiting (2 weeks later) for the books to come in...

Re: C# Beginner

I am not a programmer by any stretch of the imagination.

I subscribed to Computeach just over 3 years ago but I only completed about six months, if that, of the 3 year course (C#.Net). This is partly due to the nature of my job - I'm in the Army and have spent a year of the last three in Iraq - and a touch of laziness on my part too.

I would like to continue learning but Computeach want £266 per quarter to provide continued support. I wouldn't mind so much but I am still paying for my career development loan which I took out at the start of the course. My other option is to have all the course materials which I have paidf for sent to me and make the most of it. I'd like to so this but I need to find someone who I can casually ask for advice when I get stuck. Would anyone on here mind helping please or at least recommend a better place to find help?

I can see it would have been far more sensible for me to just get started by buying some books but hey, I do love to learn things the hard way!
