Visual Studio 2008

I saw that M$ has Visual Studio 2008 Beta 2 for a download, has anyone given that a try. If so how is it and is it worth downloading?

I tried it today, I dled it and used it for awhile. I didnt get to create the WPF applications because I haven't studied the WPF much. But I plan to, since my new laptop will have vista on it, and I'll be able to develop and test with vista.

I, too, am interested in people's experiences with VS 2008. In particular, what does it offer that 2005 doesn't? I'd like to see more integrated modelling support. Using Irrational Rose was a bloody nightmare.

The beta is still a bit buggy, but it's mostly usable. I don't know about other included products, but VWD is getting a few new features, especially with CSS and AJAX support. And the addition of LINQ2SQL to the .NET 3.5 framework will likely be pretty popular (Scott Guthrie has covered LINQ a bit in his blog). I've not used 2005 enough to really say how much else is new and exciting though :o

I've been using 2005 for a while now. I'd like to know what 2008 has to offer, but can't find the time or interest to try it myself. Let me know what you guys find. I'd only switch to it if it has some extra features that are of some real use. I don't use half the features 2005 offers, I'm still exploring it.
