I was thinking of posting a solution that met Dameon's requirements, strictly as an exercise. It's already programmed in my head.

If you don't want to pay attention and invest thought, you're lost anyway. Bye, taker-no-giver.

Uhm, sorry everyone. My sister's having a problem with her programming subject, that's all. It's her first year in college, and she's just 16, and their teacher's not doing her proper job to teach to them. Sorry if she sounded mean. Hope you'll understand..
She haven't told me about this homework. I couldn't help that much though. It's been months since i programmed anything. I shifted from being a computer science student to mass communication student. /ps: Never leave the browser unclosed mae!!/ Well then, Goodbye~. |

There's a difference between the way one learns in college and the way one learns in high school (at least, in the US). In high school, one is led through the paths, hither and yon. In college, one is pointed to paths, or the near vicinity of paths, and expected to seek them out. It gets worse in the real world of jobs, where one is turned loose in the wilderness, and maybe told that paths be here.
Pouting and refusing to mature is not a good response to reality.

Yes, i know. She sounded like a n00b there. I'm really sorry. I'll scold/tell her later when she arrives home from school.
And about that refusing to mature stuff, i think that's not the case. She's just ..err.. being a typical teenager. XD Thanks for the advice. ![]() |

However, in the real world of jobs you're not quite correct. Sometimes you're turned loose to find a path that doesn't exist. Sometimes you're pointed at a path that doesn't take you to the required destination. My personal favourite is being turned loose with no defined path and no defined destination, with a large number of people who refuse to give any information but will later criticise any path you take and inform you -- after the fact -- that you have reached the wrong destination. |
