Database Library

Can anybody recommend a decent library for reading dbf type files. The files I have and need to read, come with a dbf and a dbt file and some have and mdx index file.

I'm not planning to write anything to the files, but I need to be able to read them, and use the data held within them.

Preferably looking for something Open Source with decent documentation.

Any help most appreciated.

Dave

I've worked out that the files are DBF version 7 files, does anybody know of a library that can read these?
