Lol, I like the Pirate Bay recommendation For some nice overviews and even some slightly deeper technical information, Wikipedia's surprisingly good these days too.

i really nid a book on this one.

Tip #1: stop using Visual C++ 6.0. Visual C++ 2008, AKA Visual C++ 9.0, is out and the Express edition (which should be far more than enough for your needs) is free.

I found a cool C .pdf book the other day by searching these forums.
Think it was called "Beej's Guide to C" or something.

For C# another cool free e-book, especially on sharpdevelop and its creation, is "Disecting a C Sharp Application", very cool.
