if you mean you have prog. experience and need to use VB, don't sweat it...find a good reference and you're set.

Why is it that everyone thinks they can learn a language in a weekend? Just because a book is titled "Learn (whatever the programming language is) in 48 hours" doesnt mean its true.

It is true. They say "Learn VB in 48 Hours" but they mean "Learn VB in 24 days by spending 2 hours a day reading the book and 1 hour a day trying it out". Unless your me because for some reason I managed to learn VB in about 5 days. However, you must have a knack for programming and language (as in English, German, Madarin, French, etc. not Java, C#, XML, etc.).

I hate to tell you this but you didn't learn it in 5 days. Your not done learning it. Hell nobody is ever done learning anything are they.

That is absurd, of course I do not think in such a way. All I simply wanted to do was to try to best prepare myself with Visual Basic in a timely manner so that I may be more marketable to this employer, that is all...
