The title "Site currently under construction" and a blank page.

huh..........i dunno.....

well jimbo antininja and booze got it....and rated it just an hour and half ago...and i got it on a different library computer...i hav eno idea what it is

In my eyes it doesn't match each other.
The button's is really nice, with graphic and so on while the rest is just plain text, with a backgroundcolor. Try make something all-over-graphic or just something there match each other, and move the pictures from the left site. As you hear it's hard to say what exactly you should change. It's just my opinion

I got it with the new link. The content is off-center to the left in my rendering. The stuff to the left of the text is too "busy" and the Firefox logo is too large. I also don't care for gray backgrounds. All comments are strictly personal opinion, except for the centering, which is a fact. The look of a site is often subjective, and looks vary depending upon the type of site. Lexus isn't going to look like the "Ho' down, Boys!" site, for instance, so don't be offended by negative comments.

@ v0id: yeah i thought that too but jimbo and dawei said last time that it was too much of a background and simple was best...so im at a crossroads...
@ dawei: ok i gotta test it with other resolutions lol i have 1600X1200 so pics and in my forum avatars are too large for most ppl...sorry about that.
i will try to center it more thanks dawei i didnt nothice that
but it shoud i mean its 20% left 60% main 20% blank on the td's in the row with the blank stuff on the right balancing the busy stuff on the left so it should be centered

Don't take me wrong! I also like simple designs, most of the designs I'd make through the time has been simple. But your designs just don't fetch me. I'm not good at english, so it's hard for me to explain and express myself. That's is one of the reason I can't say what's wrong with your design.

I guess I'm saying that centering three elements, one of which is blank, results in the same thing as not centering two content elements. A good habit to get into is to evaluate your page at several resolutions. The resolution spread will depend on your intended audience. If it's all geeks with hi-res displays, that's one audience. If it's everyone in the world, that's another. One thing that helps me is to search for sites that have the same sort of focus as the site I'm preparing. When you do that, you see a lot of tacky sites and a lot of tasteful sites, all directed at the same audience. It's a help, in my view.
