Did I bash you because you're using Netbeans IDE or did I bash the IDE itself? How about read what I wrote before you try to play someone. Here I am trying to say it's stupid to bash someone for using something one person doesn't like and here you are trying to play me?

I don't like Netbeans, I think it does suck but I didn't say you suck because you use it now did I?

I agree. Life is all about choices. We may not have to agree with other peoples choices but we should respect their right to choose whatever they want. I personally am a netbeans convert from eclipse. It fits my needs better and i like the way it works.

IDE's are a matter of preference just like anything else is with computers. Whatever makes you most productive is the best choice and no one can say which one will suit you best apart from you.

I use Texpad and the command prompt. Sooner or later, I will switch to an IDE, but most of them just seem like too much for me. Ironically, I use Microsoft Visual Studio and can't live without it for C++/C#. For C I usually use gcc and and KWrite. (I don't do C on Windows.)

I downloaded Eclipse and didn't really like it. When I was in school I used NetBeans and BlueJ and didn't really like either of those.

If everyone were the same, we'd be in some major trouble.

JCreator, best Java IDE round' (my opinion of course).

Still using notepad!? no pre-tabs, no line numbers, no highlighting, no debugger!? Blasphemy I tell you!

I didn't like JCreator for projects. It's probably improved some since then (~2 years ago), but I either use vim for small projects or I'll usually switch to Eclipse if it takes more than 5 classes...
