Converting Ascii Output?
when i submit a form to be processed by a perl cgi script if i typed any specails characters like & then on the output they are displayed as a numeric value, i assume that this numeric value is propably the ascii value of the special character.................and if it is then how do go about converting this value back to its original plain text value...........i know this may sound a silly question but i have only started learning perl this week.............i regret not learning this language early because its a very useful language and the syntax is not that hard and also very familiar......your help will be greatly apprecaited and i thank you in advance for your replies.
