ok thanks for the advice Dawei....that is some useful info there..........but how does one go about viewing these perl pages which have the HTMl code emebded into.....i don't have a webserver i am just running win2k pro with ActivePerl 5.6.....i thank you in advance for your replies.

Install Apache with mod_perl. Then you can view the pages because they are hosted on your own box. see www.apache.org for more info. Apache is also free as well.
