I wouldn't quite say that C# was 'developed from' java, although it seems as though it adopted quite a lot of its traits. In syntax, no, there probably isn't that much of a difference. The overall thoughts behind the language are more than likely very different however, although I doubt you're highly concerned about that. Chances are, it wouldn't take any longer to switch from one to the other than if you were to switch from Python to Ruby, I'd say.

The first I'd ever heard of Python or Ruby were when I signed up on this forum, so that means very little to me. But thanks for trying to make it easier for me to understand. I'm just not there yet.

Yup I have an IDE and compiler already...Im going to the bookstore to get some books today or either 2morrww..My life consist of work(hourly salary)...Work on my PROJECT... getting and lining up exotic car purchases for clients so if any knows someone thats in-need for a exotic or any other type of car email or aim me pe@ce.
