Hello all.

I have developed an FTP Client Application that will back up folders automatically to a user-specified domain. Before releasing it, I require formal testing to guarantee its compatibility (only Windows, others are just bonuses), report any bugs, and suggest modifications of behaviour.

This is not a paying job. However, you will get an application that could cost you maybe $20 for free. Thusly, if you have access to an FTP, and need this application, I suggest helping out.

What I will require from you in your BETA testing.

A report...
- Specifying exactly everything you have tried.
- The different combinations of circumstances you have put the application through.
- Run the program through several different extremes, reporting the success of each possibility.
- Try all the options and combinations therein. Test for any conflicts.
- Information on your computer's specs, to associate with your comments on speed and stability.
- Potential improvements for the program.
- Comments on program's general behaviour.
- Report on anything that is specifically unclear or difficult to understand in the program. Or difficult to manage.
- Test for more chaotic situations like internet disconnection, FTP server downtime, and restricted access. Report the needed improvements for each of these.
- The software the FTP uses.
- A general comment on the success of the program.

The whole report should be estimated at, at least 500 words. More would be highly appreciated.

Hey Sane,

At the moment I have no need for FTP apps (and don't have an FTP servers), but I must say it looks like you did a good job. Looks very professional. Curious to know, what language did you write it in?

Sounds neat, if i had an ftp server i would gladly test it for you. Unfortunately, i do not.

Do you mind if I can see some credentials or proof that you are motivated/capable of doing an in-depth report?

If i have access to pcfixz ftp server, (sounds like he offered up access) i would be happy to test it for you. Just so you know my current job is a Quality Assurance Analyst (I.E i do this for a job) lol. If you talk to pcfixz or can offer up access to an ftp ill test it for you.

I will program the BETA release soon. Right now it's just a PreRelease that I was using as a benchmark for Pcfixz. If I can get this done today between all my other work, I'll send it off to the people I feel qualified.
