For Linux, I use Anjuta, it's a great IDE but I also use Scite which is a IDE for many different languages. I use it for C and Java. I rarely code in C++ b/c I personally favor Java over C++. Though C++ is a great language.

Dev-C++Linux/BSD/Unix: KDevelop (KDE/Qt)I have never used Code::Blocks nor have I done development on OS X. Although I hear that most people use X-Code on OS X. What I have listed above are my recomendations though. |

I used to use Dev-C++ and I downloaded Code::Blocks and I like it so much better...
