Dealing with say GUI, DIrect X, Cocoa API or platform specific APIs/libraries, there is a difference.

D is a languge made by Digital Mars. It is supposed to be the language that will take over C++. I doubt it though.

I've never had it crash either.
I don't use IE alot, so I don't know about the issue.
I recon it's the RAM, I use an INTEL i7 with 6GB of RAM. "The Bad Boy" (as I call it) runs like a dream :)....
