I have never liked Microsoft's stuff better.

Hmm, I think you are blaming the person at wrong side of your keyboard.
A quick glance at the masm32 intro text shows that you should have: :
option casemap :noneBut of course, I guess thats Microsoft's fault too, somehow. |
