phpMyAdmin

Has anybody modified phpMyAdmin to where there are no frames and or know of a better product than phpMyAdmin that produces the same thing?

http://dev.mysql.com/

On the right there are links to MySQL Administrator and MySQL Query browsers. They are better than phpMyAdmin but they are not web based.

I've used MySQL Administrator, the problem is when I try and add a table or modifiy the table somehow it doesn't like it and locks me out so I have to logout and in again and it does the same thing.

why do you have a problem with the frames in phpmyadmin?

PhilBon Mar 29th, 2006 1:49 AM

i hate frames

Lich Mar 29th, 2006 10:38 AM

ooh I agree, I hate frames. But I really only hate them from a working with the code or a design perspective. But for an admin panel, it really doesn't matter. I've used numerous web scripts that used frames in the admin panel. It's not really a problem unless it really screws up your browser or something
