I concur. A good book will always help. If you're looking for a free book, there are a few good ones out there. Google "Aeembly tutorial."

If you want to learn GNU assembly, google 'Programming from the ground up'...It's a free book that teaches programming by started with assembly language

I recommend that you first study High level assembly before going into pure assembly programs..We did that in school and it actually works....

Please do not hijack someone else's thread. You can easily find these documents on google, though I prefer books (well, actually not, because I have to bike to the library and that's quite an end - especially now it's snowing).
