Project: Tetra Online
For many years i have been putting ideas together for a 2D fantasy MMORPG called Tetra Online and thought i'd post a few of the base ideas i had for the game and see what you all thought of them.
* A 2D (RO Styled) fantasy RPG with 28 different Character Job Types. * 9 Different Weapons. * 9 Cities + 12 Villages on a world map consisting of 6 Seperate Areas. * Customise Armour and Weapons (Colour, Stats). * Teams of 4. I'm still working on enemy types and transportation on the game along with what each individual job type look. |
You could let the users build cities / villages :). Just an idea :).
|
I was leaning towards that :) making each cities and/or village empty apart from the shops then allowing people to buy land to build on and customisable houses.
Or allowing them to create their very own village on a deserted part of land. One of ther job types is Tamer which then becomes either Breeder or Summoner and i was thinking of allowing people to buy certain parts of land outside the cities/villages to build a basic animal farm. |
Wow, that "buying your own plot of land" idea sounds cool :-)
My friend has a game on the GameBoy, can't remember its name, but its similar to the "farming idea". I'll remember it name soon :-) |
I have these ideas but because i cannot do the programming, my friend says that i should join a programming forum and see if anybody was interested in helping me create it because he says i have great ideas and i should actually try and make one.
|
You could persuade big_k to make a community project of it ;).
|
Who is Big_K?
My game being a community project? *Thinks of his game being made* Me likes that idea :D Me likes it alot :D how do i get in contact with "Big_K" ? |
BigK is the administrator of this forums. you can PM him @ "Big_K105", and PFO will help you do this project, good luck!
|
This sounds like a good idea, I'd suggest learning PHP from a good book. I have tried to learn PHP about 2 years ago from the net, and I still suck at it now.
