Finally!

Hey,
Some of you may remember my oldish thread in Job Openings asking for programmers to code my MMOCC (Massive Multiplayer Online Chat Community)
Since that thread I have a coded BETA version. I have interchangable characters and a navigation, plus background music....But I need someone to install a walking script as at the moment, the character cannot move.
If anyone can help me, please reply or pm me.
It is coded with Lingo (Macromedia Shockwave)
Thank you.

Yeah, but people often want to know what they're gonna write for. It would also be weird if an actor is not allowed the script before signing to act in a movie.

I love how he calls it a "walking script".

I'm interrested to see how this turned out... I was one of the more vocal critics of this project early on, and would be more than happy to eat my own words, in reality there's little I enjoy more than seeing something I didn't think could get done be accomplished.

However I still wait primairly with skepticism.

At cold Death, if it is not a walking script, what is it?
And MBirch, I will be able to show you all we have acomplished in the last week or so as soon as my site is up.

You probably want something like this:

speed = 3;
While( the up key is down )
the_character.y_axis_pos += speed;

Obviously thats not proper code, but implement it in "Lingo".
