Finally!
Hey,
Some of you may remember my oldish thread in Job Openings asking for programmers to code my MMOCC (Massive Multiplayer Online Chat Community) Since that thread I have a coded BETA version. I have interchangable characters and a navigation, plus background music....But I need someone to install a walking script as at the moment, the character cannot move. If anyone can help me, please reply or pm me. It is coded with Lingo (Macromedia Shockwave) Thank you. |
Could i see a link to the site?
|
I am not launching my website until I have the walking Script installed and am able to put the client on the internet.
The site domain will be register in a few days... |

I love how he calls it a "walking script".
|
I'm interrested to see how this turned out... I was one of the more vocal critics of this project early on, and would be more than happy to eat my own words, in reality there's little I enjoy more than seeing something I didn't think could get done be accomplished.
However I still wait primairly with skepticism. -MBirchmeier |
At cold Death, if it is not a walking script, what is it?
And MBirch, I will be able to show you all we have acomplished in the last week or so as soon as my site is up. |
We're looking forward to your site heh.

You probably want something like this:
speed = 3; While( the up key is down ) the_character.y_axis_pos += speed; Obviously thats not proper code, but implement it in "Lingo". |
