XML Integrating With Flash
Hi, im a complete beginner at XML and am hoping someone may be able to share some light on a problem im facing. Im working on a project where im planning to integrate XML with Flash.
I've found a URL thats feeds infomation in the form of XML code, which is constantly updated every 30secs. I am trying pick out certain data from the XML code and use it (as variables?) in Flash. The Flash movie will be placed on a website, since im trying to make the Flash movie update in relation to the XML live feed Please can someone help, I will be extremely grateful |

Is this for your own site or for something else? If you're getting info from your own site/database it would appear that a simple custom RSS feed would work, then your flash program can read right from that.
