World of WarCraft

I was wondering if anyone here has done any developement on World of WarCraft, I was thinking of creating a server on my gaming machine to login and capture date live from the server every two hours (Or X minutes/hours/days).

So my question is, has anyone else seen, started or thought of any programs for this game that seems to be taking over the online rpg world?

I have all the code done to capture the guild date, convert it into xml, and upload, so I'm mostly done with it, but I'm afraid with the "botting" programs my program will rise a red flag and get me banned since in fact it is not me and the gameis getting commands from software, any thoughts?

Check out the community project Element, or if you like documentation the C++ Documentation Project.

I program mostly in C# and do VB.NET as well...I don't think I'd be much good to a C++ project, unless you needed some graphics.

I assume that he likes more programming related to games, am I right?

Mostly Games because normally I'm active in the community and it's very easy to get my program out there and feedback and such. And I've never really had an idea for a program that wasn't game related that someone else had not already built a decent version of.
