Microsoft, visual studio and circles

Does anyone else find it hard to find information on the msdn site? Not when it comes to looking up classes and methods ive gotten that figured out. When it comes to other stuff though I just keep going around in circles.

example....
So downloaded visual studio 2005 beta 2 over the summer. I forgot why but it seemed like a good idea. I fell in love with it then got a virus and had to reformat. (SP2 is pro virus) So I forgot all about it untill I got a free version of 2003 via my college. I found my way into msdn events a few times and found out they came to the movie theater across the street from my house last week to announce .net framework 2.0. I had class, I missed it. I am aleardy regsterd in December to "celebrate" the visual studio 2005 and talkbiz server and stuff. So what I cant figure out is...
Is visual studio 2005 out yet? Is .net framework out yet? Do microsoft care if I want to know or not? Does anyone else have trouble finding specific information (not code related) on msdn?

Sorry ahead of time for the bad spelling.

On the msdn website It is a little harder, But if your a student you should get the msdn disk for free and is totaly idiot proof, if its not free you could get a dirt cheap student version

i use google to search the msdn. Works far better than the search engine on there.

VS.NET 2005 is in beta; you can order a copy from Microsoft for something like 6 bucks.
