Starship Combat Simulator

Starship Combat Simulator is our take on the old FASA game Star Trek Starship Tactical Combat Simulator which was played using counters on a hexmap.

We have completed this game 2 times already for different platforms (Atari and DOS) and during those years we have refined and developed a very good core set of rules as well as discovered a few issues.

Currently we have been designing one for Windows. It has gone through several Alpha phases and we are gearing up for full development.

We need help. This thing is bigger than we at first imagined.

If you want to see some design screens check out http://groups.msn.com/StarshipCombatSimulator if you want to see some Alpha screens and learn more about the game and/or sign up and/or help check out http://www.evolutionsoftwarellc.com/scs/index.asp

Looks like it is a really good game and it will be successful if you just keep on trying.

It's funny how you use 'simulator' since in reality there's no actual starship combat to replicate..:) Looks cool though, i'd help out but i don't have time and don't code for windows.

Dizzutch,
I think that borders on blasphemy...in fact I know a few trekkies/trekkers who are CONVINCED that starships exist but that the government is covering it up. lol :)

I'll believe it when I see it. Same goes for the Stargate (which would be awesomly cool)..:)

We have the first server online! and we have moved to our own webspace.

We still need a lot of help, so anyone with any computer or programming skills is welcomed to help out.

The client is globalized, so we need translators as well.

Please stop by and tell us what you think...and help out if you want.

Cheers,
Chi
