New PFO Team at Folding@Home: Team #45978
 

Hey All,
I just created a PFO Team for the Folding@Home Project. A Project that uses your spare CPU time for something interesting, protein folding for medical research. Unlike the Seti@Home this project will actually help society.
This is a messatge for everybody, install the client, and use your spare CPU time to do something! The Team number is 45978 so when you setup your client insert that and your score will count towards the team. I have 8 CPU's running myself, and plan to add more later. PM me if you have any questions!

All of my spare CPU cycles are being wasted away on my attempts at a Beowulf Cluster. It would be interesting to see how this "unfolds".

inf, i'd take beowulf over FAH anytime, but 4 of the 8 are production boxes at work..:)

One thing i did notice is that i am not showing up on the team stats page. I entered the right team number, but nothing is showing up....

it won't until you finish and submit a Work Unit (WU).

Ah ok.

I'll try and throw this on one of my boxes that I don't frequently use.

Signed up. Right now it says it will take 3 days for me to complete a WU must be reallllly complicated stuff.
