<<Calling All Java Experts>>
Here's the skinny. I'm looking for a way to program a webpage that can be hosted locally. This web page needs to be able to let people input information (eg. "need 2 boxes of color ink) and save it to the page. Then, as other viewers can view the page and see what needs to be done, complete the task, and delete the request off the page (saying its done). Also i was curious about an "auto-refresh" feature. Now, i already found a script that will do this for me (Auto-refresh Script), but i'm needing some help with the other part, and putting the two together. Please help! Thanks

never mind.... no one here is helpful

Seriously you have to be more clear and precise and I highly recommend that you read the forum rules and how to post. |
I agree. The question is ambiguous, thus making it harder for us to answer it. Be more concise with what you're asking.

You don't need java. You can accomplish this easily with PHP, HTML, and MySQL.
If you're running it locally install apache, then install php, then start up mySQL. |
I would also go the PHP route, is it necessary to use Java?

hi benzur, please be specific. It seem that you're asking us to do all the hardcoding for your website. I don't think we have time to create your website...hehehe.. then you have to pay me to do it.. hehehe... but we'll provide what you need... please be specific ^___^ |
programer
hey, program3r!
you need to fix your signature, you have day++ twice (once in the for statement and another in the actual block) just lettin ya know ;) |
maybe he only does his daily reading every 2 days?
|
pr0gm3r needs to fix his signature anyway because it is in violation of the forum rules. Your signature must not exceed 5 lines. I'm sure you can make your code more compact.
