Making a game need some help.
 

Hi people well as my title states im making a game. I dont know much about this so i need help. If any 1 has play runescape or habbohotel thats the grafhices i want (just to start with). Well if any one can tell me want i can use to make a game like this or help me a bit making it i wound appresheat it.

And i also need a data base (where if you sign up you user name and pass will be saved until you log on agean) so if any 1 can help me id love i.

Normally I don't help people who use words like "any 1" in an online message board, but I'll make an exception because I'm feeling especially nice today.

If you want this game to be on the internet, you should use Java. Learn it, take a class, read books, or something. I doubt that one person could make such a complex game as Runescape by himself, but you can try.

no i dont mean making 1 like runescape in a day but over time upgradeing it. I just want to start out with 2d stuff then go to 3d. and sorry about the spelling im not a good speller.

I'm not complaining about your spelling, it's the fact that you say things like "sum1", which I hate. You should at least try to spell the word correctly.

I don't think I share the enthusiasm on using Java.... I'd probably use C#... yeah, a game of any sort will take some time. I can assist with specific questions, but I'm not going to dedicate my free time to it, nor be on stand-by. When you have a question, post it here and I'm sure someone will get an answer to you.

How can you make online applets with C#?

If there is a way, I would love to know...

They wouldn't be applets thats a Java deal...

C# has web services / web application development.

some kid i knew was stupidly addicted to that game then he got a new computer and bingo better graphics game :)

what can you do in an applet that you can't do in a web application?
