m basic
 
is python the name of the programming language?
cause someone else told me it is called "m basic"

It's called Python. Not a clue what M Basic is.

Python is def. the name of the language. Maybe the person was refering to Python as being a basic langauge (ease of syntax perhaps?) not sure though.

Mbasic is the very old microsft basic that came free with the early DOS versions before Qbasic. My dad tells me that it was out even before Bill's DOS!
