hey everbody...i'm looking for games and utilities that are open source...and run in windows...partly to sample the power of python...also to study the source...any linx would be helpful :)

Python isn't exactly a language of choice for most game developers, unfortunatly I do not know of anything off hand, I would recommend that you check http://www.sourceforge.net and maybe they will have something there. Good luck.

There is pygame http://www.pygame.org/ I've scene some fairly sophisticated stuff written with that.
