Network monitoring
 
can anyone recommend a good network monitoring software.. basically logging all webpages accesed, any kind of internet activity and so on?

There are various programs for sniffing network traffic, some of which will record things into sessions for you even. Others allow you to modify data if you set up a proxy correctly. Might I ask why you're looking for this?

it sounds like parental control doesnt it... i dont really have a use for it.. but i thought it would be interesting to have for the future...

For parental control, the easiest would probably be to set up a proxy server that records websites requested. You could later review the list and blacklist any sites you don't approve of. I can't make any recommendations for proxy software though... :(
