very small problem
 
hi all
i m not new to java but i have a small problem with it

i have jdk1.3 installed in my computer and i know how we save program in notepad and all that but i cannot connect java with notepad, i mean to say i forgot how we can make autoexec file and defining path of java in computer ..

can u please help me ?????

Connect notepad with Java? They don't need to be 'connected' you just need to use a command line argument and the file.txt (that is produced from notepad) to compile it.

You sure? It sounds to me like he just doesn't know how to create an executable.

This is why I posted that, sounds like he needs to put the java path in his environment variables so he can run javac from the command line. I could be wrong, I often am.
