Xna C# programer needed

Hello there, i'm in dire need of a person to take the role as lead programmer in my XBLA project. I need someone who is highly proficient in Xna Gamestudio or alternatively someone who has good knowledge of C# game programming and can work around a modified compiler. At the moment we are at concept stages of an absolutely wild 2d sidescrolling shooter in which we are developing for xbox live arcade. I'm planning on registering this project with microsoft's XBLA team as soon as I have aquired a programmer and concept work is complete. I ensure you this is going to be an amazing game and fun project, and hopefully should lead us to even bigger success in the future.

Our team so far consists of a lead animator (me), programmer, and a level designer.

Please note this is not a paid job, and unfortunately we are not in the financial level to rent out studio space so everything will be done via internet communication. Of course on release of the game, profit's will be equally shared through the team.

If your interested, contact me at mkorkmaz@infusedigital.com or instant message me at starfish_limp@hotmail.com

Upmost apologies if i posted this thread in the wrong section.

Age's 20+ please!

Cheers. :icon_wink:

I am personally not interested in game development. However, I just wanted to chime in to let you know that age should not be a factor when considering someone for a programming position. I know several teenagers who are extremely better at writing code than most college graduates that I have came across. That and the fact that 20+ means that the person probably already has a job taking up their time and expect to be compensated, where as the younger group may do it just for fun.

I totally understand what you mean, as I have worked with many young coders before on the MODDB. The problem is dealing with maturity, not the skill level, every young programmer I have come accross seemed to be really immature and to me was just not on the level to work professionaly. Of course one day I hope to be proven wrong, because their is nothing better than someone who is young and talented. My age restriction is just applied from past experience.

I think you may find some very talented, and very mature coders on this site who are younger than 20.
