Looking for a stock results calculator....

Hi I am looking for a stock calculator. I do back testing of my trades manually and it takes a lot of time. I am looking for a back testing tool preferably a free or inexpensive one.
It should be a type in which I can input all of my transaction dates (20 to 30 dates = one year's worth of trading) and any trading symbol and then it would automatically calculate the results at market open (and if possible closing) prices for that symbol.
The progrma could look something like this:
Stock symbol: Nok (Nokia)
Buy 1.15.07 market open.
Sell 2.18.07 market open.
Sell short 2.18.07 market open.
Cover short 3.23.07 market open.
Buy 3.23. market open.
Results for the above trades:
At open prices: Long only +10.5% . Long and short +22%.
At closing prices: Long only -8.2%. Long and short +5%.
Save the trade dates? Yes / No.

The program would get the data from Yahoo or some other source and would give the percentage change - or + for all these transactions for that symbol.
It would be great if the transaction dates could be saved for a future use with other symbols at later date. It could have one portfolio or transaction date list that can be saved and one for testing other dates.
Minimum transaction that the program should have is 10 transactions, but 20 to 30 transactions would be better if this is not difficult to make.
Again if it is not too difficult to do: It would be great to have the results for long only, and long and short.
And if not difficult: it could give a percentage gain or loss for every individual trade, but a total gain or loss would be ok too.
Also if it is not difficult to make; it would be great to have it give results at closing prices too.
It could be a program or a web based, whatever is easier to do.
This site has something similar but it is way too sophisticated. I am looking for a as simple and inexpensive version of it as possible. http://www.timingcube.com/results/#cumulative
If you have one or are willing to develop one let me know, thanks. Tim

What are you considering for a deadline? And what would you say is the potential in the market for redistributing this application to other clients?

Hi Sane, I have no particular timetable for it; ASAP. I think it would be very useful for many traders and investors, but I have no idea whether it could be sold and for how much.

Re: Looking for a stock results calculator....

Hi again, I want to clarify how this calculator could be used by many traders.
All stock trading systems regardless what they are produce a buy and sell dates. My system tacks QQQQ Nasdaq 100 and it produces about 20 to 30 buy or sell signals a year. It is easy for me to keep track what my profit or loss is for QQQQ (one stock), but if I want to see what my profit would be had I traded for example Nokia, IBM, Dell or any other stock according my signal dates it gets very time consuming to do. I have to look up the open prices and manually calculate the profit or loss for that particular stock on 20 to 30 trades.
If we had a atutomatic stock calulator that I am looking for, All the different stock systems out there could easily see how their trade signals would have worked with other stock that they are not actively following. And I think that could be very useful for many people.

I went throug many sites and cannot find the one I want, this site being one: http://www.fileheap.com/software/stock_calculator.html
