New PHP Based Forum-RPG
Hey guys!
I'm new here obviously. Nice to meet everyone, the name is Dizdain! I started a website awhile back and its going along very well so far. But, as with most sites, with size comes work. Managing a 2-3 page html site is a piece of cake. The site of mine houses hundreds of both html and php files. I know my way around in php, html and css, however, I am not a scripter by any means. I have the foundation built and the site/game up and running but I am looking for someone who would like to help me with this hobby. Perhaps, someone else who would like to get into something like this...creating your own video game and being an active forumer also. Like I mentioned earlier, the site is already up and the game already works...just looking for someone to help me tweak it and make it the best it can be. Voluntary and no money is involved at all, but I am willing to grant moderatorship to the person that knows what they are doing and is willing to co-host the site and make it the best it can be. Someone who knows PHP is a huge help! EndGameOnline ~Dizdain~ webmaster@endgameonline.net |

So if the games working, how come the only thing on that page is a wire frame globe rotating, with some text that gets displayed at the bottom?

Re: New PHP Based Forum-RPG
The page you are referring to is the flash intro page. If you happened to click "Enter", if would take you to the register/login screen, and then to the site. Although it is up and running, the game as a whole is only about 60% complete. The remainder of the game will be indepth php/mysql scripting along with additions to sections already working such as expanding the item/equipment system beyond its current 100 objects.

Re: New PHP Based Forum-RPG
I do have a special forum set up for peeps that wish to help develop the game, with ranks within separating individuals by skill (design/art, php/mysql scripting, etc.). For those interested in helping, you may see the game in action at the site (www.endgameonline.net) or proceed directly to the development forums at www.endgameonline.net/management.
